Beudy or `Cowshed’ is the middle of the three cottages and was originally the milking parlour and cowshed. The date 1894 is scrawled into the original pitch pine A-frame seen in the large living room. This spacious room with high ceiling has a beautiful oak floor and french doors leading out into the garden and a sunny sitting area where you can watch the children playing. Although the ground floor has underfloor heating – here we have added a traditional fireplace with electric fire – great for those chilly evenings! Enjoy the use of the TV, DVD player and Nintendo Wii as a family but if the children wish to watch something of their choice then they can spend some time in the `snug’ on the first floor lounging on the large leather bean bag and watching their own tv, dvd player and PS2.
The Shaker style cream kitchen provides you with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine. Here you can also enjoy the high ceiling and exposed A-frame and beams.
Beudy sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms. On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms, one with an exposed stone wall – both with traditional style iron beds. On the first floor is a garret room or `croglofft’ with twin beds, ideal for children and next door to the `snug’. The Beudy has a ground floor bathroom with bath and separate wet-room shower.
Beudy has outside sitting areas both at the front and back of the property and a large shared lawn.
If you book a holiday in the Beudy you won’t be disappointed and I will let you into a secret – Beudy has the best views!!!
