Stabal or `Stables’, the largest of the cottages formerly housed the farm’s working horses at the beginning of the twentieth century. As it is built against the slope this was the most challenging of the buildings to convert but we have managed to create a comfortable cottage albeit with a few steps here and there!!

A beautiful character oak kitchen with high ceiling and exposed stone walls provides you with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine. A large farmhouse pine table seats eight comfortably. A large separate living room has leather settees for you to enjoy the large flat screen TV, DVD player and Nintendo Wii. 

Stabal sleeps up to eight people in three bedrooms. One large double room on the ground floor was originally the carthouse and its large double openings are now glazed. Its’ patio doors lead to a small patio area where you can enjoy your morning coffee. On the first floor is another double room with beautiful pine sleigh bed – this may have been the servants’ quarters originally. A garret room or `croglofft' in Welsh with four single beds may be used as a family room or divided into two twin rooms by closing an inter-connecting door. Originally where the barley was stored, this cosy area is ideal for children.

The ground floor bathroom has a freestanding bath and separate wet-room shower whilst upstairs there is a shower room. 

There are sitting areas at the front and back of the property  and a large shared lawn .
